We are currently searching for a temporary Program Manager for a Healthcare Association. This is a full-time, hybrid, temporary position.

LOCATION: Hybrid, on-site Monday and Tuesday (Arlington, VA)

POSITION TITLE: Program Manager

SCHEDULE: M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm (with 30 min unpaid lunch break)

DURATION: Temporary (12 months)

HOURLY PAY: $28.00 - $31.00/hour


Is This Your Dream Job: The Program Manager oversees the organization’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) by ensuring successful program implementation and performance outcomes for the SCSEP Optional Demonstration Grant on Sector-Based Training for Low-Income Older Adult Workers. This position reports to the Program Director and works closely with the Directors of Program Operations by overseeing program databases, analyzing financial and performance reports, and ensuring timely and accurate grant-related reporting.

Our Ideal Candidate:

·      Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of relevant work experience in employment and training programs (Graduate level degrees may be considered in lieu of experience)

·      Demonstrated experience in nonprofit business operations and/or grant-funded programs, including tracking outcomes, managing reports and deadlines, and supervising staff and program participants.

·      Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as strong time management and organizational skills.

·      Proficiency in MS Office Suite and web-based assessment tools (e.g. Salesforce, GPMS)

·      Experience working with mature individuals, minority populations, and low-income communities strongly preferred.


How You Will Spend Your Day:

·      Oversee sector grant sub-recipients to monitor outcomes and provide reports to Directors.

·      Maintain and update bi-weekly and monthly SCSEP reporting templates Directors

·      Provide technical assistance and coordinate activities among the sector grant sub-recipients to ensure compliance with grant and reporting requirements.

·      Review and analyze progress reports from assigned sector grant sub-recipients to evaluate the effectiveness of program operations and performance.

·      Ensure data integrity by overseeing accurate data entry and record maintenance in multiple databases.

·      Serve as the primary point of contact for sector grant job seekers, sub-recipient staff, SCSEP HQ staff, and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently with excellent customer service skills.

·      Prepare, distribute, and respond to emails, correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms, as well as assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, trainings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.

·      Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, securing cooperation from others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and adjusting plans as needed.

·      Lead additional initiatives and take on special assignments as needed to support program success and continuous improvement.

·      Occasional travel, if requested
