We are currently in search of a Finance Administrator for a College Alumnae Association based in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a full time, temp-to-perm position with an anticipated hourly rate between $24-$26/hr commensurate on experience. This role is expected to begin ASAP.


ORGANIZATION TYPE: College Alumni Association

LOCATION: On-site in New Brunswick, NJ (possibility of 2 remote days once position turns permanent)

POSITION TITLE: Finance Administrator

SCHEDULE: Full-time: Mon–Thurs (8:30am–6pm ), 34 hours per week, 1 hour lunch, Fridays off

DURATION: Temporary to permanent

HOURLY RATE: $24-$26/hour


Is This Your Dream Job? The Finance Administrator will join a passionate and committed team of professionals and will provide critical accounting support for their operations. 


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Associates degree in related field, Bachelor’s preferred
  • 3+ years work experience in a corporate or nonprofit environment
  • Proven administrative, bookkeeping, planning, organizational, and problem solving skills, and constituent relations experience
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Experience with Momentive MIP accounting and Donor Perfect constituent management software preferred
  • Well organized, detail oriented and self motivated
  • Excellent communication skills with integrity and tact in handling confidential information.



How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Maintain the general ledger and preparation of accounting reports
  • Manage accounts receivable/payable, including charitable gift contributions and non contribution cash receipts
  • Handle event registration finances and related tracking
  • Prepare reports, track inventory, order supplies, and support audit readiness
