We are Project Engineers with up to 5 years of experience in land development design for our Annandale office. Candidates must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.  Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.  Experience preparing and processing land development applications in Northern Virginia is preferred, but not required.  EIT certification is preferred, but not required.  Typical duties will include:

o   Layout, design and profiling of storm drainage systems, sanitary sewer, and watermain.

o   Horizontal and vertical design of roadways.

o   Preparation of erosion and sediment control plans.

o   Creation of CAD drawings and details for site and subdivision plans.

o   Assisting with hydrologic computations for SWM facilities.

o   Performing pavement design computations.

o   Performing sight distance analysis.

o   Preparing site work quantity take-offs.

o   Other civil engineering computations and analyses.

o   Preparation of other maps and exhibits.

o   Email and phone coordination with other engineers, architects, etc.
