• Develop mechanical system designs for a variety of market types of a given project based on scope of work and/or client expectations
• Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handling units, ductwork, piping and controls.
• Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT
• Develop reports / studies
• Conduct existing building surveys and documentation of existing mechanical systems
• Develop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
• Write/edit project specifications
• Provide construction administration services
• Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations and participation in project interviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desired
• LEED certification / experience is a plus
• Minimum 5 years design experience in the M/E/P industry (10+ years preferred)
• Knowledge in the design of mechanical systems
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines
• Excellent work ethic and attitude
• Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
• Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team
• Proficiency in Revit, and MS Office
