Growth and Marketing Lead- VR/Gaming

W2 Contract

20-30hrs/week

$60-70/hr

 

We design and manufacture custom-fit VR facial interfaces using precision iPhone-powered 3D face scans. Every product is engineered uniquely for the individual.

 

Our customers use VR for gaming and simulation but struggle with discomfort, pressure points, and poor optical alignment from one-size-fits-all interfaces. We solve this through precision fit and engineered performance.

 

This is not a commodity accessory brand. We are building a new category — and marketing requires clarity, experimentation, and deep engagement with enthusiast communities.

 

The Role

We’re hiring a Growth & Marketing Lead to design and drive top-of-funnel growth for a technically differentiated product.

 

This is not a content production role. Asset creation is handled internally. Your focus is identifying, prioritizing, and executing scalable growth initiatives across influencer partnerships, communities, search, paid testing, and other high-leverage channels.

Strong attribution infrastructure is already in place (website tracking, AppsFlyer, structured links). You will use data to evaluate experiments, guide decisions, and allocate resources.

You will work directly with the founder and influence positioning, messaging, and channel strategy.

 

Success means launching disciplined experiments quickly, measuring outcomes clearly, and iterating based on signal.

 

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Experimentation (Primary)

  • Design and launch structured top-of-funnel experiments
  • Define clear hypotheses and success metrics
  • Deliver weekly written updates with results and next actions

Influencer & Community Growth

  • Identify and structure partnerships within VR, gaming, and enthusiast niches
  • Build repeatable processes focused on conversion, not vanity metrics

Funnel & Messaging Optimization

  • Improve clarity around value and the face-scan workflow
  • Diagnose drop-offs using attribution data and recommend improvements

Light Paid Testing

  • Run disciplined small-budget tests
  • Evaluate CAC, ROAS, and signal quality before scaling

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years in growth, product marketing, or performance marketing
  • Proven experience designing and executing measurable experiments
  • Strong data literacy and experience with attribution, UTMs, and conversion tracking
  • Clear written communication and structured thinking
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
  • Comfortable in small, fast-moving teams with high ownership

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in VR, gaming, enthusiast hardware, or performance products
  • Influencer or community-led growth experience
  • Experience with ecommerce + app funnels
