District Partners is supporting an innovative, high-growth technology company standing up a new business line focused on secure embedded systems and advanced cryptographic capabilities. What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain the software ecosystem for next-generation hardware platforms powered by modern hardware architectures
• Implement rigorously tested and validated constant-time cryptographic algorithms from formal specifications
• Develop secure, low-level embedded systems with a focus on side-channel resistance and high assurance
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate secure software solutions into larger distributed systems

Required Experience:

• Proficiency with one or more of the following: Rust, C, C++, Cryptol
• Demonstrated experience implementing cryptographic algorithms from formal specifications
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance (and ability to maintain)

Preferred Background:

• Experience developing for low-level embedded systems
• Expertise implementing constant-time, DPA-resistant algorithms
• Familiarity with ASN.1 and X.509 standards

Compensation & Details:

• Base salary: $132,000–$198,000 USD
• Comprehensive benefits package provided through the client
• U.S. citizenship required due to clearance requirements
• Onsite role in Reston, VA—relocation assistance may be considered for qualified candidates
