District Partners is looking for a leader in wealth management, private wealth, or an advisor who wants to build the machine that powers growth. Lead the Charlotte hub for a ~$60B and rapidly growing national RIA serving HNW/UHNW clients. You’ll run a hub-and-spoke regional model: elevating advisor performance, tightening operations, and integrating newly acquired teams (as a firm, there are about 15 acquisitions nationally completed per year with no expectation to slowdown). This is an on-site leadership role for a builder who can turn strategy into execution and scale a planning-led, fiduciary client experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Regional Growth & P&L: Own market plan and performance; drive net new assets, revenue, and margin.
- Advisor Productivity: Coach on planning workflows, pipeline discipline, COI strategy, and time allocation.
- Client Experience: Standardize a high-touch, planning-first journey that deepens retention and referrals.
- Operational Rigor & Risk: Partner with Ops/Compliance/Investments to ensure supervision excellence and clean audits.
- M&A Integration: Onboard and position acquired teams; align branding, service model, and growth cadence.
- Community & Brand Presence: Be the face of the firm locally; cultivate COIs and market visibility.
- Sustained improvements in NNA/NNAc, revenue, and market margin
- Lift in advisor productivity (planning adoption, win rates, fee growth)
- High client retention/NPS and clean supervisory outcomes
- Smooth integration and ramp of acquired/advisor teams into the hub model
- Reports to: National President, Wealth Management
Preferred Background:
- 10+ years in wealth management leading multi-advisor teams (market/complex/regional/practice leadership).
- Track record scaling planning-led growth in an RIA, wirehouse, or hybrid environment.
- Credible coach and culture builder; balances strategy with day-to-day execution.
- Strong financial acumen (revenue drivers, compensation levers, pricing, cost-to-serve).
- Executive presence; excellent communication with advisors, clients, and corporate leaders.
Credentials:
- CFP Preferred.
- Active IAR (or ability to obtain promptly) and applicable state licensing (Series 65/66 or equivalent).
- On-site in Charlotte (no remote option).
- Work authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. at time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available.
Why This Role:
- Lead a flagship hub for one of the fastest-growing RIAs focused on HNW/UHNW.
- Direct line to the President of Wealth Management; true seat at the table.
- Operate at the center of an acquisitive platform with real resources and runway.
Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site)
