Rainier Recruiting is partnering with a international building materials manufacturer with over 20,000 global employees who needs to hire a new Product Manager. The Product Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering innovative products for the building and construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in technical or commercial roles, preferably within the construction industry, and will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams. Compensation and Benefits: $85,000 salary plus bonus (negotiable)

Location: Leesburg, VA. This position is hybrid onsite 3 days a week and work-from-home 2 days a week.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product Innovation: Identify opportunities and spearhead the development of new solutions tailored to the needs of the construction market.
  • Market Research: Perform comprehensive market and competitive analyses to guide strategic product decisions.
  • Business Planning: Present insights, strategies, and business cases to senior leadership in support of new product initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Oversee product development efforts, ensuring alignment with internal processes and standards.
  • Project Management: Lead product initiatives from concept through commercialization, managing goals, timelines, resources, and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or market development.
  • Proven experience in a B2B environment, ideally within construction, building materials, or manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate actionable insights.
  • Background in marketing, customer engagement, or business development is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
