HR Benefits Manager + Construction + Lincoln/Omaha
If you’re passionate about helping employees truly understand and access their benefits — and you can navigate seamlessly between English and Spanish — this role offers the perfect blend of HR expertise, communication, and cultural connection. You’ll be the go-to person for guiding team members through benefits enrollment, answering questions, and making sure every employee feels informed, supported, and valued.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and administer a variety of benefit programs, from health and dental to 401(k) and wellness initiatives
- Serve as the trusted resource for employees, answering questions and resolving issues in both English and Spanish
- Lead benefits education sessions and open enrollment meetings in both languages
- Translate benefits materials and HR communications, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and culturally relevant
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and vendors to process transactions and maintain accurate records
- Support new hires with benefits onboarding, sometimes at multiple office locations
- Assist with leave administration (FMLA, workers’ comp) and ensure clear communication across languages
- Build relationships with employees and act as a bridge between HR policies and real-life understanding
What You Bring:
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- At least 2 years of HR or benefits experience, preferably in a bilingual or multicultural setting
- Strong knowledge of benefits programs and related compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and translation skills, with a knack for making complex information simple
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (weekends at home)
