SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
This position provides technical and design services in support of electrical design projects to produce construction drawings and specifications for our clients. Responsibilities include: • Leading the design effort on large and small projects • Manage design schedules and design team members • Ability to interact and work directly with Architects and Owners • Conduct preliminary evaluations • Prepare various reports and meeting minutes • Produce design documents (drawings and specifications) • Willingness to travel for projects nationally and internationally • Design review to assure adherence to applicable codes, company standards and project requirements
Required Experience:
• BS in Electrical Engineering with PE Registration • 10 plus years of experience in Electrical Design including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, coordination/arc flash studies • Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code • Strong knowledge of Building Codes, Applicable NFPA Codes and Energy Codes • Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare or Aviation preferred but not required. • Must know REVIT and AutoCAD • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software • Must be able to work as part of a team and balance multiple projects. • Must be self-motivated and work independently to complete work assignments. • Must be a US Citizen and have a valid driver’s license
