Title: Client Success Associate
Location: New York City (preference) or Los Angeles (hybrid)
Reports To: Director of Client Success
About the Company
Healthcare reimbursement is broken—too complex, too opaque, and too often unfair to the providers delivering care and the patients receiving it.
Pivotal Health exists to fix that.
We build technology that helps hospital-based providers get paid fairly for the care they provide, while protecting patients from surprise medical bills. Our platform guides providers through the highly complex No Surprises Act dispute process, turning what was once manual, risky, and inconsistent into a structured, data-driven workflow.
With a rapidly growing customer base, strong revenue momentum, and a mission rooted in fairness and transparency, Pivotal is helping modernize one of healthcare’s most critical—and overlooked—systems.
About the Role
Pivotal Health is looking for a Client Success Associate to support our healthcare provider clients throughout their journey with us. In this role, you’ll work closely with Client Success Managers to help ensure clients are successful, supported, and seeing value from our platform. You’ll play a key role in onboarding, day-to-day client support, and ongoing engagement—making this an excellent opportunity to grow within a high-performing Client Success team at a fast-growing healthcare technology company.
What You’ll Do
- Support a portfolio of client accounts in partnership with Client Success Managers, helping deliver a high-quality client experience.
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for client questions, requests, and follow-ups, ensuring timely and thoughtful responses.
- Assist with client onboarding and implementation activities, including scheduling, documentation, and milestone tracking.
- Monitor client usage, engagement, and feedback to identify potential issues or opportunities, escalating risks to senior team members as needed.
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to help resolve client issues and support successful outcomes.
- Help capture and organize client feedback to share with the Client Success and Product teams.
- Maintain accurate client records, notes, and reporting in client success tools and CRM systems.
- Contribute to Client Success documentation, processes, and playbooks to help improve team efficiency and consistency.
- Analyze client data and trends to surface insights, answer ad hoc questions, and support decision-making for Client Success Managers and leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in a client-facing role such as Client Success, Account Support, Customer Support, or Account Coordination; experience in B2B SaaS, healthcare, or health tech is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a variety of client stakeholders.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a Client Success career path.
- Comfort working cross-functionally and following established processes to support client needs.
- Familiarity with CRM, client success, or project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Asana, or similar) is a plus but not required.
- Comfort working with data, including analyzing trends, building executive-level presentations, and translating information into clear insights or recommendations.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to work quickly and thoughtfully in ambiguous situations, balancing speed with accuracy.
Why Join Pivotal Health
- Have ownership and support to lead client accounts, drive outcomes, and make a meaningful impact on our product.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams in a highly collaborative, low-ego environment.
