A well-established academic health system in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to join the Center for Telepsychiatry and E-Behavioral Health (CTeBH). Based in Greenville, NC, this position offers the opportunity to work with a growing statewide program providing psychiatric services to hospitals and community clinics across North Carolina.
Position Highlights:
• Employed by a major academic physician group
• Full-time, telepsychiatry position based in Greenville, NC
• Opportunity to support a network of 29 hospitals and 22 community-based clinics
• Responsibilities include patient care, system integration, and outcomes improvement
• Established team of 23 providers within the CTeBH
• Academic appointment with opportunity for teaching and scholarly activities
• Salary and academic rank commensurate with experience
• Position reports to the Medical Director of the Center
Candidate Requirements:
• BC/BE in Adult Psychiatry
• Experience in telepsychiatry and emergency psychiatry preferred
• Must live in Greenville, NC
