THE JOB

The Outside Sales Representative will drive new business development in the Houston market by building relationships with contractors and construction firms. This is a true hunter role focused on prospecting, field visits, and closing steady, transactional B2B deals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new contractor relationships
  • Conduct outbound calls, schedule site visits, and generate consistent quotes
  • Manage transactional rental contracts (1–2 years)
  • Track pipeline activity in Salesforce
  • Monitor local construction activity and new project opportunities
  • Achieve defined revenue targets tied to quarterly bonuses


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • Experience selling to construction contractors strongly preferred
  • Background in equipment rental, building materials, HVAC, modular, or construction-adjacent industries required
  • Proven ability to prospect and build a book of business
  • Experience managing multiple transactional deals
  • Comfortable using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • High-energy, self-motivated, competitive mindset


THE BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$90,000
  • Target Earnings: ~$120,000+ first year
