Your Role:

As a Fleet Mechanic, you'll ensure vehicles and equipment are always ready to support life-saving missions. Your duties include:

  • Diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing vehicles and patient transport systems.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Recording detailed service information in the Fleet Management system.
  • Executing major and minor repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Managing parts and supplies through national accounts.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.


What It Takes to Succeed:

  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Confidence, emotional stability, and good judgment under high stress.
  • Proficiency in verbal communication and teamwork.
  • Experience in light diesel and gas vehicle repair; ambulance or emergency vehicle expertise is a plus.
  • Familiarity with computer systems for documenting maintenance activities.
  • ASE or manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required.
