Are you a hands-on, mechanically-minded technician who’s ready to work on something more than just your standard fleet truck? We’re looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Detroit, Michigan servicing a variety of work trucks—everything from vacuum trucks, garbage trucks to street sweepers, snow plow trucks, and bucket trucks. This role is a great mix of in-shop work and on-the-road service.

You’ll be a key player in keeping specialized equipment running strong while also helping our customers understand, operate, and maintain their new machines. If you’re experienced with traditional diesel truck repair, adaptable, and willing to learn new things —we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Maintaining hydraulics. pneumatics, and electronics (training provided)
• Conduct field demonstrations for customers (yes, you’ll get to show off the gear!)
• Train customers on the safe and proper use of specialized equipment
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for service issues
• Day shift, 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday to Friday). Flexible times available.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior mechanic/technician experience with diesel trucks repair - chassis, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, tires, etc.
• Millwright experience also applicable.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, or CANbus systems is a big plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Class B CDL – training fully funded.

Compensation:

• $25.00 - $40.00/hour to start with flexibility based on experience.
