Trust & Safety Training & QA Specialist ($45–$55/hr) | Remote (U.S.)
12-Month W2 Assignment | Weekly Pay + Benefits | Potential Extension
Behind every trusted online community is a team that knows how to make the right call—every time. This role sits at the center of that mission.
We’re seeking a Trust & Safety Training & QA Specialist to design, scale, and continuously refine the training and quality frameworks that power a fast-growing moderation ecosystem. This is not a “plug-and-play” role. You’ll be building the playbook, creating feedback loops, and ensuring that trust and safety standards are applied with consistency and confidence across a distributed workforce.
You’ll serve as the connective tissue between policy and execution—translating nuanced safety guidelines into clear, actionable training while holding both internal and BPO teams to a high bar of quality.
What You’ll Do
- Design and launch end-to-end training programs for internal Trust & Safety teams and external BPO partners.
- Build and maintain training assets across formats: live workshops, slide decks, videos, written guides, and eLearning modules.
- Partner closely with moderation leads to identify skill gaps and rapidly deploy targeted training solutions.
- Guide new moderators through onboarding and nesting to ensure quality and productivity benchmarks are met.
- Conduct daily QA audits across moderation workflows, harm areas, and agent performance.
- Analyze errors and trends, translating findings into clear, actionable feedback and improvements.
- Lead calibration sessions to align decision-making across regions and teams.
- Measure and report on training effectiveness, quality improvements, and operational impact.
Who You Are
- You thrive in fast-moving environments where structure needs to be built—not inherited.
- You’re skilled at turning complex, evolving policies into training that is clear, practical, and sticky.
- You enjoy QA work and can quickly identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- You’re confident delivering direct, constructive feedback that drives measurable results.
- You’re comfortable adapting as products, policies, and priorities shift.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, with a focus on Training and/or Quality Assurance.
- Demonstrated success creating training programs and materials from the ground up.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience reporting on QA trends and training ROI.
- Experience working with BPO partners or large, distributed workforces (preferred).
