Title: Creative Project Manager (Remote)

Remote US based

Pay: $45hr (Weekly pay + Medical benefits)

Contract: 6 months (Excellent potential for extension/permanent)

Full-time: M-F (Your time zone)

About the Role

The Creative Project Manager (Remote ) is a critical partner to in-house creative team, responsible for driving creative planning, project execution, and operational excellence across marketing initiatives. This role ensures creative work is delivered on time, on budget, and at a high standard of quality, while enabling seamless collaboration across marketing, product, and engineering teams.

You will serve as the central hub for creative intake, prioritization, resourcing, and workflow management, balancing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities

Lead quarterly, monthly, and weekly creative planning and prioritization for designers, writers, and engineering partners

Own end-to-end project management for creative initiatives, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and requirements

Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align on scope, priorities, capacity, and tradeoffs

Facilitate weekly sprint planning, traffic reviews, and creative ticket grooming sessions to ensure clarity, alignment, and realistic resourcing

Manage creative intake processes, ensuring requests are clearly defined, properly scoped, and prioritized against business goals

Monitor workload and capacity across the creative team, proactively adjusting assignments to maintain balance and efficiency

Identify risks, blockers, and resourcing gaps early; confidently propose solutions and escalation paths to keep projects on track

Drive operational improvements across creative workflows, including refining ticketing systems, approval processes, and handoffs

Partner with stakeholders to establish and maintain best-in-class creative operations standards

Track project progress, timelines, and delivery metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability across teams

Support the rollout and adoption of tools and systems related to project management, asset management, and workflow tracking


 

Basic Qualifications

  • 4-8+ years of experience as a Create Project Manager and/or Creative Operations Manager, working directly with creative teams
  • Must have experience in daily communication with other team members; working closely enjoying collaboration
  • Requires experience working closely with  in-house creative teams- - marketing, copy writers, designers etc
  • Proven experience in resource planning, workflow management, budgeting, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency within a marketing or creative organization
  • Must have Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong background supporting marketing and product teams, translating business needs into clear creative execution plans
  • Experience managing and delivering omni-channel creative projects, including:

Integrated marketing campaigns, Website design and development, Video and motion projects, Digital and lifecycle marketing assets

  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting high-volume creative teams in a matrixed organization
  • Bonus: Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management; experience acting as a Scrum Master is a big plus
  • Bonus: Experience in process improvements- for example supporting the migration to Airtable or similar
  • Bonus: Familiarity with asset management systems and creative performance tracking
  • Bonus: Experience working in education, tech, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses
