What we're looking for 

A fast-growing US-based consumer goods company behind a premium boating lifestyle brand is looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to own their organic social presence and build a thriving brand community from the ground up. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will be the sole owner of organic social across platforms, working closely with content creators and influencers to grow an engaged audience and turn loyal customers into brand ambassadors.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and execute the organic social calendar across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, posting consistently during peak season and maintaining a strategy-first approach to content planning.
  • Collaborate with the in-house content creator to stay ahead of trends, brief content accordingly, and ensure all output aligns with the brand voice and platform best practices.
  • Build, revive, and grow an engaged Facebook Group, transforming existing customers into a community of active brand ambassadors.
  • Lead influencer and creator outreach, manage ongoing relationships, coordinate content delivery, and develop a structured partnership program within the water sports niche.
  • Build and maintain a creator CRM in Notion, tracking partnerships, outreach status, and content schedules.
  • Track and report on KPIs, including follower growth, engagement rate, reach, saves, shares, and UGC volume, using tools like Metricool to monitor performance and optimize strategy.


Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media for consumer brands, ideally in CPG, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
  • A portfolio of results showing content that performed well and communities you have built or grown.
  • Deep fluency in Instagram and TikTok, knowing what drives virality, engagement, and community loyalty on each platform.
  • Hands-on experience managing online communities (Facebook Groups, WhatsApp chats, Discord, or similar).
  • Experience with influencer outreach and relationship management, from identification to ongoing coordination.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and manage multiple workstreams without heavy oversight.


Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Metricool, Notion, or similar social and project management tools.
  • Basic video editing knowledge, particularly with CapCut, for minor content adjustments.
