Market Risk Analyst + Problem-Solver + Omaha

This role blends analytics, finance, and technical modeling in a fast-paced environment where curiosity and strong problem-solving skills are highly valued. You’ll work closely with trading and leadership teams to analyze risk, develop valuation models, and provide insights that help guide critical financial decisions. 

What You’ll Do 

• Develop and maintain risk and valuation models for complex financial and commodity-related transactions 
• Manage and update market-driven inputs used in risk measurement and valuation processes 
• Partner with trading and leadership teams to provide quantitative analysis and valuation insights 
• Investigate complex deal structures and ensure valuations align with expected outcomes 
• Prepare and present risk and valuation reporting to leadership 
• Conduct research to improve valuation methodologies and modeling techniques 
• Support ongoing data analysis, reporting improvements, and process enhancements 
• Provide guidance and support to junior analysts as needed 

What They’re Looking For 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics 
• 3+ years of professional experience post-graduation 
• Strong preference for candidates with Public Accounting Audit experience 
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving ability 
• Naturally curious mindset with a desire to tackle complex challenges 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 

Technical Skills 

• Advanced Excel expertise (complex formulas, pivot tables, goal seek, VBA) 
• Strong technical and data analysis capabilities 
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, or AI tools is a plus 
• Exposure to financial modeling, risk analysis, or complex data reporting preferred
