MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Financial Advisor, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one financial guidance to plan participants, including retirement readiness assessments, asset allocation recommendations, and contribution strategies to employees of employer-sponsored retirement plans (primarily 401(k) plans) managed by Lutz Financial
  • Conduct individual participant meetings (in-person, virtual, and phone) during enrollment, re-enrollment, and ongoing plan support
  • Support participants through key life and career events by offering tailored financial planning related to retirement income, budgeting, risk management, and long-term goals.
  • Provide holistic financial planning services aligned with participant needs and firm offerings, including:
  • Retirement income planning
  • Cash flow and budgeting guidance
  • Risk management and insurance considerations
  • Education funding and other long-term financial goals
  • Create and deliver engaging financial education content for new hires, annual enrollment, re-enrollment, and financial wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Retirement Plan Advisors and internal teams to align communication plans, coordinate meeting schedules, and enhance participant engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted, participant-facing representative of Lutz Financial, reinforcing our commitment to fiduciary excellence and exceptional client service.
  • Regular travel to client locations is required to support participant education, enrollment meetings, and one-on-one advisory sessions (majority travel is local and conducted during normal business hours; occasional overnight if necessary.)
  • Assisting operations and administrative teams as needed

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 3+ years of financial planning, retirement plan advising, or participant-facing financial services experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
  • CFP® designation preferred (or current candidate)
  • Strong understanding of retirement plan concepts, investment fundamentals, and financial planning principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and relatable way
  • Proven ability to build relationships, engage participants, and deliver both individual and group education
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech-savvy, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and client services
