Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Proposal Specialist to review and compile benefit proposals, specifically focusing on health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability (STD), and long-term disability (LTD) options. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive Excel benefit proposals using information provided by various insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze benefit proposals for health, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD insurance.
• Utilize our provided spreadsheet template to create detailed Excel benefit proposals.
• Extract and incorporate information from insurance carrier quotes, including premium details and benefit plan designs.
• Develop Excel proposals that clearly outline employee, employer, and total contributions.
• Review and merge multiple Excel census files, highlighting any missing information required for proposals.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Excel formatting and advanced functions, with a strong background in spreadsheet management.
• Proven experience in preparing health insurance proposals from major insurance carriers, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
• In-depth understanding of employee benefits, particularly health insurance and how different plans function.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize data effectively, ensuring accuracy and clarity in proposals.

Additional Qualifications:

• Previous experience in employee benefits or insurance-related roles is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and insurance carriers.
