HR Operations Specialist

Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94086 (**local candidates- onsite**)

Pay Range: $43–$53/hr (Weekly pay + Medical Benefits)

Contract: 3–6-month contract to permanent (based on performance)

Work Model: On-site M–F (start times 9:00–10:00am)

Role Overview

The HR Operations Specialist will own the end-to-end HR operational processes, ensuring a smooth employee lifecycle and compliance. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring a proactive, self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys contributing across HR functions.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the employee lifecycle: onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and employee culture initiatives.
  • Administer I-9/E-Verify, ADP, SharePoint, and other HR systems.
  • Perform HR compliance and audits, including data scrubbing and managing digital filing systems.
  • Maintain organizational charts, seating, badging, swag, FedEx, vendor management, and event coordination.
  • Support executive and operational needs with ad hoc HR tasks, ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Partner with payroll/benefits PEO and internal teams for HR and administrative processes.

 


Required Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of Human Resource experience
  • Experience managing HR systems (ADP, Workday, SharePoint, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of compliance processes, especially I-9/E-Verify
  • Previous experience working in a very fast-paced or start-up environment
  • Experience with onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Ability to support HR programs for employee culture, events, or organizational structure
  • Professional and hands-on attitude; comfortable “getting their hands dirty”
  • Must be very proactive and adaptable to change in a busy environment
  • Strong communicator, collaborative, detail-oriented
  • Driven to learn and contribute across HR functions in a fast-paced setting
  • Eager to learn and grow (excellent opportunity to move up in the organization)

Bonus:

  • Knowledge of international student work authorizations and visa documentation
