Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for HVAC and client success? We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Project Account Manager to lead account relationships, drive growth, and deliver exceptional service in our Dearborn office.


As an HVAC Project Account Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing customer accounts, estimating projects, and ensuring successful post-sale transitions. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual looking to grow in a leadership role within the HVAC/mechanical industry.


Responsibilities of the HVAC Project Account Manager:

  • Champion the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Establish rapport with clients through products and services
  • Form accurate and complete sales proposals
  • Facilitate smooth post-sale transitions with installation teams
  • Educate prospective customers on superior product/service offerings
  • Regularly call on assigned accounts per company guidelines
  • Follow up on sales bids and existing leads
  • Keep customer records up to date in CRM software
  • Participate in ongoing training for industry technologies
  • Support cross-functional team members and divisions


Requirements for the HVAC Project Account Manager:

  • Proven experience specifically with large Commercial HVAC units 25 tons and up
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification and college coursework or degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience, ideally in the HVAC or mechanical industry
  • Strong background in customer service and client relations
  • Experience with estimating, including service agreements and project scopes
  • Understanding of advanced air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles
  • Highly reliable and self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
