We are helping our client find a highly motivated, skilled, and personable Periodontist or Oral Surgeon to join their established family practice in Harrisburg, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist who prioritizes patient care and values working in a supportive, patient-focused environment with advanced technology and a strong clinical team.
The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and confident chairside manner, strong communication skills, and at least 3–5 years of clinical experience. The practice offers a stable, fun atmosphere with a highly skilled support team and modern, fully updated facilities.

- 3 doctors and 8 hygienists
- 14 total chairs
- Active patient base: 7,000
- Practice annual revenue: $4.7 million
- Payer mix: 80% PPO / 20% fee-for-service
- Fully digital, upgraded technology including iTero, Jazz digital X-rays, CBCT, MouthWatch intraoral camera, and more
- Schedule: 2–4 times per month (flexible)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with an active Pennsylvania license in good standing
- Completion of a residency program in Periodontics or Oral Surgery (required)
- At least 3–5 years of clinical experience
- Periodontics: Highly proficient in procedures including implants, scaling and root planing, grafting, and other surgical and regenerative treatments
- Oral Surgery: Highly skilled in extractions, bone and tissue grafting, implant placement, and related surgical procedures
- Ability to examine, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Strong desire and willingness to continue learning and advancing clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong patient relationships
- Willingness to participate in-network as needed
Compensation:
- $1,000 – $1,500 per hour, commensurate with experience
