Position Title: Periodontist

Location: Plainville, CT

Status: Part-Time (1–2 days per month; flexible schedule)

We are helping our client find a highly motivated, skilled, and personable Periodontist to join their established practice in Plainville, CT. This is an outstanding opportunity for a specialist who values a supportive, patient-centered environment and is committed to providing comprehensive periodontal care.

The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and confident chairside manner, excellent communication skills, and at least 3–5 years of clinical experience. This practice offers a collaborative team, modern facilities, and advanced technology to support high-quality care.

• Active patient base: 4,500
• Payer mix: 50% PPO / 50% fee-for-service
• 6 doctor chairs and 6 hygiene chairs
• Advanced technology: Cone Beam CT, iTero, Overjet
• Beautiful office with spacious operatories, dedicated consult room, lab, and sterilization rooms
• Schedule: 1–2 days per month; flexible scheduling

Qualifications and Skills:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with an active Connecticut license in good standing
• Completion of a residency program in Periodontics (required)
• At least 3–5 years of clinical experience
• Highly proficient in all aspects of periodontics, including implants, scaling and root planing, grafting, and related surgical procedures
• Ability to examine, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Strong desire and willingness to continue learning and improving
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust and relationships with patients
• Willingness to participate in-network as needed
