Account Manager

Brooklyn-based but requires being on the road.
The Account Manager works under the Director of Business Development to grow the membership in the MLTC/MAP/DSNP plan by creating and cultivating relationships with reliable referral resources in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Referral Source Outreach: Develop a list of referral source targets.
- Follow the Company’s referral source strategy and bring workable resources to the Plan.
- Strengthen relationships with new and existing referral resources- daily visits to organizations, home care agencies, assisted living facilities, physician officess and
- Cultivate these referral sources so they understand the unique value of our services and the benefits of each of our plans, and refer potential members to our Plan.
- Promote our Plan and its benefits within the community
- Pre-plan marketing activities and follow-through
- Maintain complete and concise written documentation of all activities to ensure appropriate lead tracking and follow-up.
- Meet quotas and goals assigned.
- Attend team and company meetings.
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Home Health Care is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Medicaid/Medicare guidelines and MLTC are important
- Excellent customer service, attention to detail, andcommunications skills are a must
- Self-motivated individual with a results-oriented mindsetandh a drive to achieve success
- Enthusiastic about being part of a newly formed Plan that recognizes talent and has opportunity for growth
