Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Ortho – Shoulder / Elbow)

Location: Sun City, AZ

Hours & Schedule: Mon – Fri (0800–1700)

Work Environment: Clinic Outpatient

Travel Required: No Travel

Salary / Hourly Rate: $130k – $160k / year

Bonus Offered: RVU Bonus (All APPs currently earning bonus)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team specializing in shoulder and elbow care. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with a range of upper extremity conditions, participating in post-op management, and contributing to the success of our dynamic practice.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients with shoulder and elbow orthopedic conditions
  • Perform comprehensive history and physical exams, order diagnostic studies, and formulate treatment plans
  • Support pre- and post-operative care and clinical follow-ups
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, surgical outcomes, and rehabilitation expectations
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
  • Accurately document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in limited on-call coverage as needed
  • Assist in clinic efficiency and workflow improvement efforts


Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program in the U.S. (not Puerto Rico)
  • Active and unrestricted Arizona license (or eligibility)
  • Board certification as NP or PA
  • 1–2 years of experience in orthopedic care, ideally with shoulder/elbow focus
  • RNFA certification required
  • Current BLS certification
