A growing company is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Business Data Analyst to join its Inventory Forecasting team. This role supports demand planning and inventory management by analyzing historical data, identifying trends, and collaborating closely with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to improve inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze historical sales, inventory, and operational data to support accurate demand forecasting
• Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, excess inventory, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytical tools
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and sales teams to align inventory forecasts and business priorities
• Take ownership of forecasting processes and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
• Lead follow-ups with cross-functional teams to maintain accountability and project momentum
• Analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, demand forecasting, inventory management, supply chain, or a related field required
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Ability to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and business opportunities within data
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field preferred
