The Director of Software Development will provide day to day technical leadership for the software development team, ensuring projects are delivered with quality, accountability, and urgency. This is a hands on leadership role responsible for guiding developers, reviewing code, managing releases, improving workflows, and helping drive the company's long term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day to day technical leadership and direction to the development team
• Review code, resolve blockers, and ensure strong development standards
• Manage software projects, timelines, and team accountability
• Improve development workflows, QA processes, and release readiness
• Oversee deployments, version control practices, and production releases
• Collaborate with leadership to establish priorities and technical roadmaps
• Support automation and AI related initiatives
• Advise on architecture, technical risks, security, and long term planning
• Work cross functionally to ensure software solutions meet business needs
• Mentor developers and support team growth and hiring decisions
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of software development experience required
• Strong senior level technical leadership experience required
• Full stack development background including .NET, C#, SQL Server, NestJS, Git, or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of Angular, React, and modern web applications
• Experience leading developers and overseeing software delivery from planning through deployment
• Strong communication, leadership, and accountability skills
• Experience with software architecture, deployments, and technical strategy
• Director level leadership experience preferred
• Healthcare technology or claims management experience a plus
• Proven ability to manage both technical and business priorities effectively
