Role Summary
The Southern Region Sales and Marketing Specialist provides support to the Sales Operations and Marketing teams within our Dealership Southern Region. This role involves reporting on sales/marketing performance, planning regional and dealer meetings, coordinating Dealer Advertising Group (DAG) activities, auditing dealer websites, managing the regional vehicle fleet, and supporting event and sponsorship planning/activation.
The ideal candidate will bring prior luxury automotive experience (preferred), advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position requires an enthusiastic, positive, and resourceful self-starter who can interact effectively with corporate personnel, dealerships, consumers, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales and marketing support for our dealership Southern Region, Area Teams, and Dealer Advertising Groups (DAGs).
- Generate dealer performance reporting (daily/weekly/monthly) across sales, distribution, marketing, loyalty, and CSI.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to support sales and customer experience functions.
- Manage regional operations, including:
- Region meeting coordination
- Monthly Region Playbook
- Incentive exception requests
- Region team/dealer contact lists
- Region vacation tracker
- Plan and coordinate DAG meetings (scheduling, logistics, communications).
- Audit Tier II and Tier III dealer websites.
- Identify and evaluate partnership and event opportunities.
- Lead experiential planning and activation (ideation, vendor management, site checks, onsite execution).
- Collaborate with partner agencies on campaign support and dealer asset creation.
- Plan and execute dealer toolkits for Audi Sales Events and product launches.
- Assist with regional/dealer check requests, contract routing, and purchase orders.
- Support dealers and field teams with media and retail asset requests.
- Manage the regional marketing fleet, including vehicle transportation.
- Prepare and distribute monthly newsletters highlighting media and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1–5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in similar program
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency (complex data analysis)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven project management and implementation experience
- Passion for our vehicle brand and the luxury automotive industry
- Team-oriented, strong presentation skills, ability to work with all management levels
- Analytical and conceptual thinking (creative and strategic problem-solving)
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Strong resource management skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
Desired:
- Expertise in Tableau and SQL
- Experience in luxury sales and marketing
- Understanding of automotive business processes (corporate and field operations)
- Knowledge of domestic and import luxury vehicle model ranges
- Relevant retail or corporate automotive experience
