Electrical Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA
Contract: 2 months (possible extensions)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 100% Onsite | 9/80 Schedule
Work 80 hours over 9 days — enjoy nine-hour days Monday–Thursday and every other Friday off, providing a three-day weekend twice a month.
Compensation: $72–78/hour

Job Description
Design and Development
- Design electrical systems, components, and products based on project requirements and specifications
- Develop and test prototypes to validate functionality, performance, and safety
System Analysis
- Analyze electrical systems and circuits; perform calculations and utilize simulation software to evaluate and improve performance
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
Project Management
- Plan and manage electrical engineering projects, including project timeline creation, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule constraints
Technical Documentation
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, diagrams, and test reports
- Maintain accurate records of design modifications and project progress
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards in the workplace
Collaboration
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other professionals to integrate electrical systems into larger projects or products
- Communicate effectively as part of a team to achieve project objectives
Research and Innovation
- Stay current with developments in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies
- Research and propose innovative solutions to improve product performance and efficiency
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical circuit design, analysis, and simulation software
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Familiarity with CAD software for schematics and layouts

Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to devise creative solutions

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams

- Experience:
- Prior experience in electrical engineering or a related role preferred
- Practical experience with electrical testing equipment and manufacturing processes is a plus
