We are currently in search of a Fundraising Events & Database Specialist for an International Health Nonprofit. The position is On-Site in Manhattan, NYC. This is a part-time position with the potential to become temporary to permanent.
ORGANIZATION TYPE: International Health Nonprofit
LOCATION: New York City (SoHo neighborhood in Manhattan – On-Site)
POSITION TITLE: Fundraising Events & Database Specialist
SCHEDULE: 15-30+ hours/week
DURATION: Temporary assignment until end-of-June. (For an ideal candidate, possibility of conversion to Permanent & Full-Time).
HOURLY RATE: $29.00 - $32.00

The Specialist will support this organization with funding a medical center in Israel by leading special events in New York and by providing administrative services for the Development department (including database management). This hospital advances peace and well-being by providing the best medical care – without regard to ethnicity, nationality or religion. This role will begin as a temporary assignment, and for an ideal candidate, could become temp to hire, with an anticipated salary of $70k+.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· 5 years of special events experience, ideally for fundraising initiatives
· Raiser’s Edge Database experience
· Highly proficient with fundraising software
· Corporate sponsorship experience preferred
· Flexible and adaptable teammate
· Highly effective communicator, collaborative
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Plan and execute all aspects of special events, including golf outings and 5ks.
· Oversee events communication, supplies, transportation.
· Responsible for the accuracy/integrity of database management system.
· Supports with overall management of the organization’s database, which includes adding new contacts, updating information, verifying data, and others as requested.
· Provide reports to staff as requested.
