Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate books and records across the Group
• Prepare journals, reconciliations, and perform month-end activities for both balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including financial analysis and commentary for assigned legal entities
• Perform analytical reviews, transaction analyses, and revenue/cost assessments
• Support the preparation and submission of VAT and corporate tax returns
• Contribute to internal projects by helping define scope, objectives, timelines, and outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, reporting standards, and compliance with internal policies
• Monitor and help implement group-wide financial policies and procedures
• Assist in the annual audit process for Group companies
• Stay up to date with IFRS standards, tax laws, and regulatory developments to ensure full compliance
• Provide ad hoc support to the Head of Department and Group Financial Controller as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Currently pursuing ACCA or ACA qualification (considered an advantage)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar senior/managerial accounting role
• Strong understanding of IFRS principles
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and time management skills
• Ability to meet strict monthly deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent command of English and Russian, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in the financial services industry (desirable)
• Familiarity with SAP S4 HANA (desirable)
