About the Role

We are seeking a Quality/Test Engineer to play a central role in developing, executing, and interpreting product testing programs within a new state-of-the-art test lab. In this role, you will:

  • Design and run testing methods for lifecycle claims, durability, and compliance
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment, ensuring accurate data output and reporting
  • Perform root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to address failures
  • Lead packaging claims testing and manage ongoing compliance processes
  • Benchmark competitor products and drive continuous improvements from design through production
  • Support new product development by embedding testing and quality standards from launch
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, supply chain, operations, and consumer relations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred (Chemical or Industrial Engineering acceptable with relevant product testing experience)
  • 4+ years of product testing experience prefferably in a dedicated, in-house lab
  • Hands-on experience with physical product testing (durability, lifecycle, claims validation)
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and recommend design/process improvements
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and lab tools such as calipers, tensile meters, and torque meters
  • Collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
  • Strong communication skills for translating test results to stakeholders
  • HACCP/Lean Six Sigma or statistical analysis experience preferred
