The Director of Website Marketing will own the full direct-to-consumer (DTC) online experience and be responsible for customer acquisition, loyalty, revenue growth, and optimizing profitability across all digital platforms. Reporting to the GM of eCommerce, this role plays a critical part in shaping and executing the company's overall digital strategy. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, data-informed marketer with a deep understanding of performance marketing, website UX, CRM, and cross-functional collaboration. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary: $140,000–$150,000 plus 30+ percent bonus (negotiable).

Location: Bellevue, WA. This position is onsite Mon-Thurs with an option to work-from-home on Fridays.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the website P&L, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and contribution profit.
  • Develop and lead digital strategies that convert prospects to customers, nurture community engagement, and build brand advocacy.
  • Drive customer acquisition through integrated campaigns using a mix of paid, organic, and earned media.
  • Launch and manage campaigns across affiliate marketing, influencers, social platforms, and new product rollouts.
  • Achieve customer growth targets across defined market segments.
  • Build engaging on-site experiences aligned with broader brand initiatives and off-site interactions.
  • Create and optimize a segmented CRM strategy to maximize customer lifetime value and minimize churn.
  • Align with brand and marketing teams on awareness-building initiatives and overall content strategy.
  • Oversee digital customer experience, including personalization, loyalty programs, email marketing, and social media integration.
  • Develop and maintain an annual campaign calendar in coordination with product launches and marketing events.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences across all channels.
  • Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, conversion metrics, and engagement data to guide decisions.
  • Cultivate a test-and-learn culture to improve ROI from media spending.
  • Identify exclusive digital product and pricing bundles tailored to online shoppers.
  • Share insights and digital best practices with internal stakeholders and other channel owners.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven leadership experience managing digital marketing or eCommerce teams.
  • Strong collaborator who can influence across departments using data and customer insights.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for building exceptional digital experiences.
  • Clear communicator capable of delivering actionable feedback and complex ideas with clarity.
  • Adept at problem-solving with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
  • Strong relationship builder who fosters trust, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years in digital marketing or eCommerce, ideally in a consumer-facing industry focused on recruitment and retention.
  • Experience managing P&L for a DTC website channel with demonstrated success in driving profitable growth.
  • Background in website optimization, UX strategy, performance marketing, and digital campaign execution.
  • Skilled in CRM systems, A/B testing, and consumer segmentation strategies.
  • Familiar with paid search, paid social, affiliate marketing, influencer partnerships, and other traffic-driving tools.
  • Track record of hiring, mentoring, and retaining high-performing digital talent.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of KPIs and customer behavior data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
