We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in either a light-duty or heavy-duty service setting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is a key link between the service team and our customers, requiring clear communication, organization, and a calm, grounded approach.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and accurately assess their service needs
- Communicate effectively with both technicians and customers to manage expectations and timelines
- Create and maintain detailed repair orders and service documentation
- Utilize Microsoft Office and internal software systems to manage service workflow
- Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their vehicles
- Assist with estimating service time and cost when needed
- Ensure a clean and organized service area
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a service department (light or heavy-duty preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Steady, grounded, and professional demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
