Join Our Team as a Head Heavy Equipment Technician – Calgary, AB

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Heavy Equipment Technician to take the lead in managing the maintenance and repair operations for our fleet of specialized equipment. Based out of our Calgary facility, this is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a Journeyman Technician with a background in lawn and turf equipment, agricultural machinery, or heavy equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Hands-on repairs and maintenance on a wide range of lawn, turf, and light construction equipment
• Supervising a team of 5 technicians, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical support
• Coordinating and scheduling maintenance and repair work to keep operations running smoothly
• Ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure timely and efficient service
• Conducting diagnostics, inspections, and ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards
• Acting as a key point of contact for internal departments regarding equipment status and repair timelines

What We’re Looking For:

• Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal preferred) or Agricultural Equipment Technician
• Proven experience working with lawn, turf, agricultural, or construction equipment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is a strong asset
• Organized, efficient, and able to balance hands-on work with team leadership and planning
• Valid driver’s license
