In business for over 45 years, a leading and rapidly expanding fire protection and suppression organization is urgently hiring several Fire Alarm Technicians, Fire Extinguisher Techs, & Kitchen Fire Suppression Technicians to cover the Logan, UT and surrounding areas.

Working out of a company vehicle you are able to take home, Kitchen Suppression, Fire Extinguisher, and Fire Alarm Techs will inspect, install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of fire suppression systems in kitchen and paint booth settings (i.e. Amerex, Pyro- Chem, Ansul, etc.), fire alarm systems (i.e. Notifier, Fire Lite, Silent Knight, Kiddie etc.), emergency lighting systems, perform hydrostatic testing of low-pressure cylinders, fire extinguisher repairs and filling (i.e. Oval, Amerex); completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.


SHIFT: Days, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 40 hours. Minimal on-call

FIRE ALARM, SUPPRESSION, & EXTINGUISHER TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·      3-5 years service, inspection, and installation experience with kitchen fire suppression systems, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and/or fire extinguishers

·      Solid electrical troubleshooting skills

·      Experienced with a variety of brands such as ANSUL, Pyro-Chem, Kidde, Piranha, Oval, Notifier, etc.

·      Knowledgeable of NFPA 10 and/or NFPA 72

·      Any trade related certifications/licenses considered a strong asset but not required

o  Willing to obtain any related certifications at company cost

·      Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

·      Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (MVR and Drug Testing)
