We are currently in search of a Research & Case Study Writer for a National Healthcare Association. The position is Hybrid in Bethesda, MD. This is a full-time, temporary position.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: National Healthcare Association

LOCATION: Hybrid (Bethesda, MD)

POSITION TITLE: Research & Case Study Writer

SCHEDULE: 37.5 hours/week

DURATION: Temporary (~3 months)

HOURLY RATE: $27.00 - $30.00

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Research & Case Study Writer will support research, interviewing, and writing to document innovative models within the community health center movement. This position will focus on showcasing successful practices through compelling case studies to highlight the positive impact of health centers and supporting organizations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while producing accurate, timely work.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

·       2+ years of writing or research experience, preferably in a healthcare setting

·       Bachelor’s degree required

·       Proficient with MS Office Suite

·       Familiar and comfortable with recording and transcription technology

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills regarding interviewing and storytelling

·       Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

·       Identify and scout innovative clinical or operational models within the community health center movement using research and personalized outreach.

·       Schedule, record, and lead professional interviews with health center stakeholders and partner organizations to gather primary source data.

·       Synthesize interview recordings and research findings into high-quality written case studies and reports.

·       Ensure all project components—including interview transcripts, data, and final drafts—are organized and submitted according to set deadlines.

·       Review historical case studies and reports to update language, verify data with original subjects, and complete any missing content to ensure all materials are ready for publication.

·       Ensure products are delivered on time and of high quality.

·       Other duties as assigned.
