LOCATION: Washington, DC (Hybrid) 

POSITION TITLE: Outreach Assistant 

SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week 

DURATION: Temporary (~2 months)  

HOURLY RATE: $22.00 - $25.00 

 

Is This Your Dream Job? The Outreach Assistant will support the Outreach Team with a variety of tasks as they prepare for the organization's annual summit. This position will play a key role in data collection and tracking, member outreach, and scheduling. Must be capable of both in-person and remote work.

 

Our Ideal Candidate: 

·       1 year of office management, scheduling, and administrative experience required.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

·       Strong data management skills required.

·       Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.

·       Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines efficiently.

·       Excellent project management, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

·       An interest in international affairs is a plus..


How You Will Spend Your Day: 

  • Assisting regional directors and managers with invitation follow-up calls and confirmation calls.
  • Assist with regional research to build event contact lists, data collection, and tracking.
  • Assist with stipend tracking and follow-up.
  • Ability to assist during our annual summit - requires extended standing, moving, greeting guests, and helping with set up.
  • Ability to assist the team in person in the office during the assignment.
