Our client, an esteemed international law firm, is looking for a Legal Analyst to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the review, drafting, and analysis of engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines to ensure alignment with firm policies and client requirements.
- Performs strategic and legal analyses to support client and industry initiatives.
- Drafts clear and comprehensive client agreements in compliance with internal policies and legal standards.
- Reviews, interprets, and summarizes complex legal documents; identifies key issues and proposes appropriate responses.
- Maintains and updates database records related to client agreements; escalates outstanding issues as needed.
- Acts as a central point of contact for inquiries regarding client engagement terms.
- Collaborates with attorneys, management, and staff to support effective decision-making.
- Prepares and analyzes reports highlighting key contractual terms and data insights.
- Manages multiple legal projects simultaneously and coordinates across departments.
- Uses legal software and technology (e.g., Aderant Expert, Litera Compare, MS Office) to enhance analysis and document review.
- Ensures compliance with firm policies, handles confidential matters with discretion, and manages firm resources responsibly.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Maintains flexibility to adjust work hours to meet business demands.
Qualifications:
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal agreements, particularly client engagement documents.
- Understanding of law firm operations and client relationship dynamics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new legal software systems.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of related legal or law firm experience.
