Job Description:

AMS Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join one of its clients and providing support to a Partner by maintaining a docket of premises liability, auto, and wrongful death matters. This firm is located just north of downtown San Antonio. The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience handling personal injury matters on the defense side and must have the ability to manage all aspects of defense matters including:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Drafting initial case evaluations;
• Strategy development and implementation;
• Drafting motions, pleadings, and correspondence;
• Conducting discovery;
• Taking and defending depositions;
• Examining discovery – video, digital, and physical;
• Perform Legal research;
• Manage day to day matters of a docket;
• Attend hearings;
• Manage a docket of personal injury defense matters from inception to trial with minimal supervision.

Experience:

• 4+ years at a reputable insurance defense firm working on a docket of personal injury matters.
