Our client’s Sacramento office is continuing to grow and are looking for strong associate candidates with experience. They are currently looking to hire an Associate attorney with between 3-7 years of experience handling labor and employment law matters in California. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and compensation depending on experience.

The attorney(s) that fill this position will be responsible for working directly with private sector employer clients to provide advice and counsel on personnel matters, and handle high-stakes employment litigation (court and arbitration), as well as representation in administrative matters before state and federal government agencies.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in representing private sector employers in labor and employment matters in California.
• Successful candidates will be highly motivated, possess excellent writing, analytical, and people skills, value a team environment, and will be prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.

Education, Certification, and Training

• Juris Doctor with a strong academic record. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state of California.
• Must have a California bar license.
• During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
