Job Title: Associate Attorney

AMS Staffing, Inc. is seeking an associate attorney to join one of its clients in its insurance defense practice in the downtown New Orleans area. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience independently managing a docket of asbestos matters. This candidate must have file to trial experience managing an asbestos docket with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Taking and defending depositions;
• Attending hearings;
• Attending and preparing for mediation;
• Trial attendance/ trial preparation;
• Legal research.

Experience:

• 5+ years of asbestos experience.
