Our client, an AM Law 50 firm, is looking to hire a Senior .NET/Sharepoint Application Developer at their offices in New York City. This is a full time, direct hire role paying an annual salary of $140K to $170K plus a performance-based bonus and excellent benefits package. The position will allow for remote work one day a week.
The Sr. .NET/Sharepoint Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of web-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom applications to meet the needs of our client’s Practice Groups and Business Professionals.
- Meet with stakeholders to gather business requirements and specifications.
- Develop new solutions to replace legacy systems by leveraging modern programming languages, platforms, and technologies.
- Develop systems integrations applications between business applications against disparate datasources and APIs.
- Follow software development and testing methodologies and best practices.
- Maintain, support, and troubleshoot applications, applying solutions and fixes. Work with outside consultants and vendors as needed.
- Communicate to Management Team project status, issues, and risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an approved and accredited college
- 5+ years’ development experience using C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS and ReactJS framework
- 2+ years’ development experience with SharePoint Online development frameworks.
- 2+ years’ development experience with Power Platform (implementing PowerApps).
- Experience with Aderant Handshake, Nintex and Sharegate development frameworks and utilities.
- Strong hands-on modern SharePoint (SPFx) custom code development experience
- Proficient in SQL including data modeling, stored procedures, and views.
- MCSD or MCSE preferred
- Legal experience preferred
- Able to work independently, as well as within a team, and take the lead on projects. Excellent customer service skills, and ability to interact directly with clients.
- Extensive experience with the full systems development lifecycle, covering requirements, design, development, testing and delivery
