Our client is looking to fill 2 litigation paralegal positions with trial experience. Our primary focus is medical malpractice litigation and personal injury defense.

For one of the positions, they are requiring candidates to be bilingual Spanish.

Our client will also consider commercial litigation experience

The candidates responsibilities include:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment is a must.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work collaboratively as a team required.
• Assist in case intake, including communication with court, counsel and client.
• Handle high volume case list and management of all related litigation deadlines.
• Works directly with managing partner and/or senior associate and must have knowledge of case details and action items readily available.
• Review and manage voluminous emails per day and take action as needed.

Essential Job Functions & Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of civil litigation practice including an understanding and knowledge of court practices, requirements and deadlines in both state and federal courts.
• Ability to take a new case from file to trial.
• Exhibit professionalism by recognizing and adhering to all Firm policies, including attendance guidelines, dress code, security measures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Acute attention to detail.
