Attorney Training Manager - Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain attorney learning curricula for the New York office.
- Collaborate with team members to design and deliver training programs.
- Oversee logistics for learning events, including retreats and orientations.
- Stay current on learning trends and contribute innovative ideas to programs.
- Manage vendor contracts and collaborate on CLE credit alignment.
- Lead the Business Development Academy and create content for the Attorney Learning site.
- Supervise attorney bar admission/compliance and oversee related expenses.
- Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for the NY learning team.
- Recommend improvements to training methods, guidelines, and procedures.
- Ensure efficient department operations and support long-term planning.
- Promote alignment with Firm's values, efficiency, and client service.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices and learning trends.
- Proficient in relevant software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, WebEx/Zoom).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and sensitive matters.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least seven years of training experience in a law firm and two years of managerial experience.
