๐งญ About the Role
We're seeking experienced Platform Engineers to support the evolution of a federal energy market platform used across the Belgian utilities sector. You'll be part of a strategic initiative focused on standardizing and optimizing how energy data is exchanged between transmission and distribution operators and suppliers.
This is a fully remote, nearshore-friendly opportunity where you'll work on Azure-based cloud infrastructure, enable modern DevOps practices, and help development teams deliver efficiently on a critical national system.
๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Automate deployment, observability, and configuration processes.

Enable infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Bicep.

Drive observability using logging and monitoring stacks.
- Work closely with development teams to optimize delivery pipelines and runtime environments.
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of all platforms.

Apply DevSecOps best practices and integrate security tooling within pipelines.
๐ก Must-Have Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Azure platform engineering or DevOps roles.
- Strong experience in:
- Microsoft Azure
- CI/CD automation (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi)
- Observability stack (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Fluent English (minimum C1 level).

- Experience with:
- Microservices architecture
- Security tooling integrated in CI/CD pipelines
- Event-driven architectures
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in IT or related field.
