Senior Project Manager - Data Centre

Rate: $70 - $80 Per Hour

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a number of construction projects in the Phoenix area. This role involves managing project budgets, schedules, teams, and subcontractors from preconstruction through completion.

Key Requirements:

• Lead and manage large or multiple medium-sized commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Direct, mentor, and support project team members; delegate responsibilities and promote team development
• Review, negotiate, and execute subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
• Monitor financial performance, prepare forecasts, and maintain project profitability
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and contract requirements
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering efforts, and scope management
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, billings, and status reports
• Assist with preconstruction and procurement processes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with a general contractor
• Proven track record managing mission critical projects
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
