Summary

Our client is looking to reinforce the SIV (System Integration and Verification) team with a System Test Engineer. He/she will be assigned to work on the testing of the new iNM system.

Deliverables (tasks)

His/her responsibilities will include mapping existing test cases to the new service requirements, analyzing and resolving failed test cases, implementing new test cases for change requests (CRs) and addressing any gaps in the requirements.

Experience

Experience with software integration activities: integration, configuration and installation of complex applications in a UNIX or LINUX environment

Experience with Jira

Experience with testing tools  (ex. HP ALM)

Experience with test automation tools (like HP test suite or open source)

Experience with testing data warehouse systems (nice to have)

Experience with SQL

Experience with B2B and test execution

Experience with load/stress/performance tests

Solid experience in the production test reports and recommendations

Competencies

General requirements

1. Have a bachelor degree as a minimum, preferred master degree in software engineering. In case this is not available, the equivalent through professional experience and professional training is possible with approval from the client; 
2. Have a good level of the English language meaning being fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English due to the fact that is mandatory to communicate and document the work in English; 
3. Quality minded; 
4. Able to work in agile development environment in team created for the purpose of a small duration project, and 
5. Proficient in the following toolset: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Excel and MS Sharepoint. 

And more specifically:

1. Knowledge of structured testing and agile testing methodology 
2. Ability to execute manual and automated tests
3. Ability to produce manual test specifications and automated test scripts
4. Ability to prepare test plan and contribute to the test strategy definition
5. Knowledge of selenium, clearcase and GIT
6. Ability to learn quickly new tools and systems
